love2. The Texas Sunshine

We were Michiganders. We had lived there all our lives, and over 20 years apiece. Sure that isn't as long as some people, but it was the only land and whether we had known. Then we spent 8 months in Wisconsin. This weather was a little different, but at the same time very similar. Last June we moved to Texas. Since then we have made it through the hottest days of the summer, the fall, the winter, and now the spring. I love the Texas sunshine. There really is nothing that compares to its warmth as it seems to warm you to the bones. It is bright most of the days, even in the winter, and it makes for a great happy place to live. Additionally it is warm all through the winter and only really snowed once in the entire winter (at Thanksgiving time). We went swimming a few days ago, and it was wonderful, though a bit chilly. The air is often warm and even hot (very hot come summer), but it is humid and sticky like back home and is easier to handle then the humidity is.

All in all, I love the Texas sunshine, at least here in the dessert!
